Specialist Lead and Complex Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA)
Full time 37 hours per week
Fixed term contract to 31st March 2027, with the possibility of extension subject to funding
Annual salary of £30,428.50, rising by 4% upon successful probationary period

Main purpose of the post:
The post holder will provide one-to-one support for complex cases referred to the service, alongside offering casework supervision and day-to-day management of a small team of Specialist IDVAs. They will ensure the delivery of high-quality, frontline support to victims of domestic abuse through a proactive service approach for those assessed as medium or high risk.
The role operates within a multi-agency framework, working closely with MARAC partners including Greater Manchester Police, Children’s and Adults’ Safeguarding Services, Health professionals, and other local agencies.
